ENDO's ZELICK Pays Tribute To Fallen DROWNING POOL Frontman
August 17, 2002Zelick, bassist for Miami, Florida's ENDO, has posted the following message in memory of late DROWNING POOL frontman Dave Williams, who was found dead last Wednesday:
"Our deepest condolences go out to our brothers in DROWNING POOL and all of their friends and families. We have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with DP on a few occasions, and we will never forget a single one of them. We will never forget the show we played with them back in the winter of 2000 at the Whisky in L.A. They were still an unsigned band, we had met going through Dallas, and after their set we just knew they would be getting signed. I remember telling Dave that if they didn't make it big there was something very wrong with this world. We will miss his amazing attitude and modesty. He was one of the most down-to-earth persons I have ever met and his band, some of the coolest group of people we ever ran across on the road of life. We will miss you dearly, Dave! To the rest of our boys in DP, keep his spirit alive and keep on rocking!"
